    Clover

The term clover is a common name for plants in the genus Trifolium (true clover), Melilotus (sweet clover), and Medicago (medic clover). Clovers are legumes and as such are able to make unavailable nitrogen available via a symbiotic relationship the plant shares with nitrogen-fixing soil bacteria.
